These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the CENTRIS Finance application and website (collectively, the "Service") operated by CENTRIS Finance ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using CENTRIS, you confirm that you are at least 13 years old and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

CENTRIS is a financial management application for freelancers, solopreneurs, and small business owners. Features include expense tracking, invoicing, mileage logging, subscription monitoring, cash flow forecasting, and AI-powered financial insights.

3. Subscriptions and In-App Purchases

CENTRIS offers free and paid subscription tiers. Paid subscriptions are available on a monthly or annual basis.

On iOS, subscriptions are purchased through Apple In-App Purchases. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID account settings (Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions).

On the web, subscriptions are processed through Stripe. You may cancel anytime through the billing portal.

4. Free Tier Limits

The free tier includes limited daily usage: 15 receipt scans per day, 5 invoices per day, and 10 AI messages per day. All limits reset daily at midnight. We reserve the right to modify these limits at any time.

5. AI Features

Certain features in CENTRIS are powered by Anthropic Claude, a third-party AI service. Before accessing any AI feature, you will be shown a consent screen that explains exactly what data is sent and to whom. You must explicitly agree before any data is transmitted to Anthropic. You may decline at any time and the AI feature will not be activated.

AI-generated responses are for informational purposes only and do not constitute financial, legal, or tax advice. Always consult a qualified professional for financial decisions.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. We are not liable for any losses resulting from unauthorized account access.

All content, trademarks, and software within the Service are the property of CENTRIS Finance or its licensors. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for personal or business purposes.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses. Financial data and AI-generated insights are provided for informational purposes only and do not constitute professional financial advice.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CENTRIS Finance shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months prior to the claim.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from within the app. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or in-app notice. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
